Liebherr

Liebherr was founded in 1949 by Hans Liebherr and is still owned by the Liebherr family. In the 50's they started producing tower cranes and in the 1960's, the range extended to excavators, wheel loaders and bulldozers. In 1970 they introduced the world's first hydraulic machine with an articulated arm. They have remained one of the most innovative manufacturers in the business, resulting in over $1 billion in annual sales and 48.000 employees constructing over 29.000 machines per year.
